* * *Role: .NET Developer & Vendor Implementation Support * Location: Earth City, MO Duration: 6-12 month contract Rate: open *Required:* Seeking an Application Developer with design and development experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. The candidate will perform the technical design, development and implementation of complex application systems using existing and emerging technology platforms. The candidate may also participate in some application architecture functions. • Development and implementation in various technologies including vendor/infrastructure related efforts and application development. • Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, maintains, and modifies computer programs of high complexity, significance and risk. • Coordination and planning of Vendor application installations on internal hardware on multiple platforms including database, web and application servers, Citrix and workstation deployments. Upgrades to existing vendor applications. Implementation of patches and promotion to production environments. • Estimates and defines time tables and project tasks; analyzes and estimates cost and time. • Creates and may review unit test plans. Identifies opportunities to improve testing process. • Develops basic and detailed program specifications. Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved. • Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and recommends technical solutions. • Demonstrates good understanding of the business needs driving the projects. • Ability to work independently with general direction from management and technical leads. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or other related field) and 5 plus years of experience with applications development. • Expert understanding of Object Oriented design, .Net application design and development - in particular C#.NET. • Must have 3 plus years of working experience in C# .NET, ASP.NET<http://asp.net/> , HTML/DHTML, XML and TFS. • Experience with Visual Studio .NET 2008/2010 required. • Strong experience with developing SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 based applications. Must have 3 plus years of working experience with SQL and database design with Stored Procedures. Experience with SQL Jobs, DTS and/or SSIS is preferred. • Experience with large datasets from a performance point of view is required. Strong focus on building quality application software. • Experience with secure coding practices. • Full technical knowledge of all phases of application systems analysis, programming and necessary hardware infrastructure to implement those systems. • Strong technical, logical, analytical and problem solving skills. • Strong planning, organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills. • Expertise in development life-cycle and its components. • Ability to work as part of a project team which possesses a wide range of skills, and to provide technical direction and consultation. Preferred: - Experience of Mortgage Systems and MISMO is a plus. - Experience with GLBA and other compliance related efforts is a plus.
