The Microsoft Solution Architect will participate in concept phase of Policy Admin (PA) application of specialty lines. Activities: - Current state analysis of PA application - Rank application components, interfaces, technologies with respect to criticality and enterprise/industry standard - Define Solution alternatives with pros and cons - Participate in recommend one Solution alternative - Detail Conceptual Architecture for the solution recommendation - Estimate Post concept phase (Definition, construction, release) for solution recommended - Participate in defining delivery strategy. Skill, Experience & General information Required: Basic Technical Requirements 10 to 15 years overall experience (MUST) 5-10 years of strong expertise in Microsoft Solution Architecture (MUST) Current in .Net (3.5/3.0/4.0) (MUST) Large scale enterprise wide Visual Basic 6.0 to .Net migration experience including solution, and delivery (MUST) Insurance background is highly preferred.
