JAVA Web developer Length: 18 months Location: Rocester, NY Job Description Job Title: Software Engineer - ECommerce Purpose of Job: Individual(s) needed to support the design and development of e-commerce initiatives for applications that provide customers with easy access to Digital Assets to support their business processes. Responsibilities / Specialized Skill Requirements Required: Responsibilities • Design and Develop web based applications - PHP, Java, Servlets, JSP and EJB. • Develop Use Case, Sequence and Class Diagrams. • Deployment of application on JBoss application server. • Work on MySQL backend - database construct understanding. Skill Requirements • Experience developing server-side software based around a relational database using PHP, J2EE, EJB and JSP (ideally on a JBoss and MySQL platform). • Experience developing client-side software using javascript, AJAX and Flash. (experince with jQuery a plus). • Working knowledge of ActionScript 3.0, Flash, Flex, and XML. • Experience building RESTful APIs. • Knowledge of HTML5. • Experience with the UNIX OS (Linux preferable). • Relational Database experience. • Experience using UML. • Experience with Software Configuration Management Tools, Processes and Commercialization. • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). • Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, team player.
