Must have 2-5+ years of design, implement, and maintain Ruby on Rails based components including: a. web-technologies such as HTML/XHTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX b. Applies OOD and Design Patterns to software design & problem solving c. Experience with Agile programming d. Tackled clustering/caching, threading and performance issues 2. Experience developing Web 2.0/3.0 sites and working with lightweight web services. 3. Expanding and enforcing best-practices on the front end, including web standards and clean modularized code a. Worked in a fast paced agile environment with continuous integration, unit/integration/load/performance testing b. RDBMS experience including schema design and content modeling 4. Related MVC models a plus 5. Strong aptitude and experience in Consumer-facing web sites and User interfaces 6. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator 7.
