The requirement for this request of a project Manager is as follows:
Project Manager Profile.
Candidates for consideration will have a majority of the following
Managing* IT suppliers to deliver projects*
Managing global projects across countries, time zones and cultures
Managing project in a company comparable to the size of Client
Managing customer facing projects (interaction with business users)
Preferably* PMP certified*
Project Manager Skills/Deliverables:
Manage projects for IT Services. Responsible for functioning as an*
infrastructure
coordinator for business projects generated through the regional
IT project funnel.* Function will be to understand requirements, generate
project plans and timelines, providing relevant costing information, scope
definition, resource requirements (human and infrastructure).
Liaise with business contacts to ensure all expectations are identified,
documented and accounted for. Must generate all necessary*ITIL required
documentation to ensure full compliance with all audit requirements are
satisfied.*
Operationally, the project manager must ensure projects are delivered with a
high quality, within budget, on schedule and within defined scope.
Create all necessary documentation to transition a project through the IT
regional funnel
Ensure all project phases are effectively executed, *through to closure &
justification/verification of expected ROI/savings*
Understand requirements, define infrastructure scope/resource requirements,
and Coordinate activities across entire services quadrant, ensuring
availability of resources at the required time/place.
Develop and nurture relationship with* 3rd party providers, ensuring
accountability and delivery.*
Hold others accountable to deliver tasks within defined project plan, taking
corrective actions proactively and as needed.
Communicate effectively with Director IT Project Services and all key
stakeholders for relevant project plan to ensure escalations are done.
*Deliver all Services quadrant process requirements (ITIL).*
Utilize Client standard Project Management procedures.
*Own & deliver **project** management of infrastructure components of
projects for relevant portfolio.*
Plans, directs and manages activities to build and implement interrelated
projects from contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage.
Plans, schedules, monitors, adjusts and reports on activities related to
the project.
Ensures that the project is delivered to realise business benefits and
expectations.
Manages resource requirements and delivery through dotted line reporting
structures.
