Qualified candidate will participate in the design, creation, and maintenance of computerized databases. Responsible for quality control and auditing of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data. Works with management to develop database strategies to support company needs. Consults with and advises users on access to various databases. Work directly with users to resolve data conflicts and inappropriate data usage. The DBA will also coordinate its efforts with the Lead DBA, Application development manager, and client's development staff and functional owners to ensure system integrity with change control procedures related to modifications to operating system, database software, application programming and other systems utilities. The DBA will perform all aspects of database support and maintenance as directed by the Client.
