*REQUIRED:**
* 5 years experience as a business analyst. Experienced eliciting,
analyzing, and documenting business requirements and translating business
requirements into use cases and/or functional system specifications.
* 3 years experience as an electronic commerce analyst defining electronic
system to system transaction flows among B2B trading partners.
* 3 years experience in defining standards for point to point and web
service enabled XML transactions including the creation and/or
interpretation of XML schemas. Candidate should be able to design schemas
to not only meet the task at hand but include forethought into potential
broader uses for other customer.
* This person will interact with external technical contacts and must
possess excellent customer-service skills and have demonstrated polished and
professional written and oral communications.
* Strong work ethic and team attitude.
STRONGLY PREFERRED:
* 1 year experience conducting internal testing across multiple applications
and external testing with trading partners.
* Proven ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise across a variety of
applications (including external partners systems).
Other Details:
- This position is an IT B2B Analyst within the US Commercial IT
Organization.
- The person responsible will work on B2B (system to system) connectivity
with Client's external trading partners.
- The successful candidate will facilitate meetings to discuss business and
technical requirements with both technical and non-technical parties from
both internal and external teams.
- The selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing business
problems, capturing and documenting business requirements, maintaining use
cases, working with development teams, developing and executing system test
cases, and rolling out processes and new projects with external trading
partners.
- The candidate must possess the ability to navigate through sometimes
ambiguous requests or troubleshoot issues that may span multiple
applications including external systems.
- Candidate must also be able to influence implementation of tasks across a
highly matrixed organization.
- This candidate will also represent Monsanto periodically in an industry
organization responsible for setting electronic commerce standards
(AgGateway). *
