Length of contract assignment: 12 months* *Project Description:* Client is looking to include many new enhancements to the Revenue Cycle product and they will also be making a move to more efficient/better performing code as they move to a more virtualized application environment. They need to build out the team to help them handle the backlog of work. *Day to day responsibilities: ** *• Work with an Agile Scrum Team - very open floor/team environment • Develop code in Java and J2EE • Unit test own code especially Junit and mocking frameworks – must take testing own code seriously • Work across the lifecycle from analysis, design, development and test Biggest Technical Challenge: Finding java programmers that can perform and articulate the *java code process. ** *1. Java coding experience 2. Ability to perform unit testing on code (very important) 3. Articulate the reason behind the code review process (very important) 4. Ability to fit within the team (peer programming / Agile environment) *Required skills:* 1. 5+ years Java /J2EE in an enterprise SW development environment 2. Ability to function as a designer, developer, tester and analyst 3. Ability to demonstrate unit testing, especially junits and mocking frameworks is required 4. Must have strong communication skills (peer programming environment) 5. Must exhibit a sense of and demonstrate responsibility, focus on delivery, and ability to work independently with appropriate technical direction a.
