SAP APO / PPDS (Green Card and US Citizens)

Knowledge of: - Operational characteristics, services and activities of an
ERP system, including application configurations, developing business
process specifications, and testing business applications. - SAP business
systems applications in SCM (Supply Chain Management), CRM (Customer
Relationship Management), PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP. -
Principles and practices of information technology including current
hardware, software, and supporting infrastructure. - Advanced principles and
practices of systems analysis and design. - Principles and practices of
effective customer service. - Principles and practices necessary for
producing effective project documentation, including business functions and
technical ERP system processes. - Principles and practices of project
management. - Current business systems best practices. Ability to: -
Understand and coordinate the activities and operations of a highly complex
ERP system. - Understand and apply the technical elements of schema, SAP
data base tables, custom tables, master data, Development Implementation
Management Guide (IMG), technical objects, table maintenance, view
maintenance, and security. - Interpret and explain Local policies and
procedures. - Manage projects in a timely manner. - Work with information
system users under stressful conditions. - Analyze and troubleshoot ERP
system problems and recommend appropriate alternatives. - Prepare clear and
concise reports (eg Moratorium Exception Report). - Apply knowledge of ERP
systems management to develop, maintain, and/or enhance system components. -
Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. - Establish
and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the
course of work. Specific SAP Skill Requirements: - Strong SAP application
and configuration experience in the APO/PP/DS * Advanced Planner and
Optimizer/Production Planning/ Detail Scheduling modules. Education and
Experience Guidelines: - Bachelor*s degree from an accredited College or
University. - Major course work in accounting, information technology,
business administration or a related field. - Four years of progressively
responsible IT experience in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems,
including two years of SAP project management experience. - May be required
to accommodate irregular work hours including evenings and weekends and on
call rotations. All Customer locations are smoke-free facilities. No smoking
is allowed anywhere on property.

Position Description
***********************
The SAP Support Consultant will serve a global user base. This Level 3 (L3)
Support Consultant will provide process and tool subject matter expertise
for the following SAP modules. Additionally, the L3 Consultant will serve as
a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Support Services Section support
model, methods and processes. Under general direction, the L3 Consultant
will coordinate and deliver solutions for break fix support requests,
information requests and service requests related to the Mach1 solution for
system users. The L3 consultant will also be involved in approved
Multi-Generation Product-Process Planning (MGPP) enhancements that have been
approved for interim releases. Activities may include: - creating Functional
designs for enhancements of existing SAP functionality for interim releases;
- configuration for system enhancements; - testing system modifications; -
performing system maintenance(configuration, master data); - analyzing and
evaluating SAP system processes and user needs. In partnership with the
Global Template Services team and other SME*s the L3 Consultant will: -
recommend, modify, or configure new processing techniques; - resolve
critical SAP development issues; - research, develop, and propose both short
and long term solutions to SAP system requirements. ROLES &
RESPONSIBILITIES: Operational Support, Project Work, Data Management,
Enhancements/Scope Changes - for Interim Releases, Support Model, Method &
Process.
