Please send resumes to [email protected] Requirement Details: *Role: SharePoint developer with VB.net experience Location: Los Angeles, CA Duration: 1 year* Client is looking for someone who has worked with VB.NET and has a background with Sharepoint 2010 from 2007 migrations. Someone with experience with the customization of SharePoint 2007 and knowledge of enhancement in SharePoint 2010. *Required Skills (Months)* High Availability - 12 months: Server and application high availability Microsoft SQL 2008 - 12 months: knowledge of SQL SSRS, SSAS, SSIS .Net - 24 months: Visual Studios programming, Silverlight, .net for SharePoint development/applications Backup And Restore - 12 months: must understand backup and restore concepts BS of Computer Science or Equivalent required * Qualifications: * *Expert technical knowledge in SharePoint 2010 and minimum of five years experience in .Net development.* Experienced with *Silverlight *preferred. Also, experience with: project development and creating presentation. Skilled in verbal and written communications with the ability to express medium complexity technical concepts in business terms. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams. Experience in the industry or in a production/service environment similar to company is preferred. Knowledge in systems development life cycle and methodologies, ITIL framework, Records and Information management and content management processes. Developing workflow processes preferred. *Responsibilities:* Conducts requirements gathering, systems analysis, and design for medium complexity applications (SharePoint). Prepares detailed program specifications for medium complexity applications from which programs will be designed, coded, configured, visually developed, tested, and debugged. Follows program specifications to design, install, code, configure, visually develop, test, debug, and document application programs. Develops business knowledge and relationships to integrate activities with other IT and business personnel to ensure successful implementation of projects and production support efforts. The candidate will be responsible for creating first draft presentations and status reports, help provide business process analysis with technical aptitude, deliver on daily project tasks, troubleshoot system issues with ticketing system.
