*QA Analyst * *Location: Washington, DC** **Duration: 6 months* *Rate : Open** * •System Tester responsible for test strategy development (Test Plan), test case creation, test script development, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, by executing or using SAS in a Unix environment (knowledge of SAS and Unix is essential.) •Candidate needs to plan, execute and report test activities for system, regression and user acceptance testing for SAS models. Write test plans, develop test case logic with clear pass/fail criteria and write test cases. •Generate test data to support test cases if required. •Strong SDLC knowledge. •Work closely with Business Analyst/modelers to analyze requirements and technical specifications of Applications/EUCs in development to provide support on the SDLC documentation efforts by creating Business Requirements documents, Test Plans, Test Cases, Interface documents, Design documents, etc; and to see how they can be developed into testable elements. •Must have strong SAS skills and a demonstrated ability to perform statistical or economic analysis *Day to day activities:* •Work with financial modelers to test their models using SAS by creating Test Cases, executing Test Scripts, and providing Test Results Summary Reports. •Responsible for tracking defects and ensuring that they have been resolved. •Create RTMs (Requirements Traceability Matrix) to map requirements to test cases to ensure testing coverage. All this in support of compliance efforts under SDLC for migration purposes of new releases into production. *MUST HAVE’S:* •SAS Knowledge •Unix *Like to have’s:* If it is someone internal to Fannie Mae, that is familiar with the SDLC process, it would be ideal, and/or someone that has experience in a financial/mortgage environment. *Background/Technology/Software:* .
