*Oracle DBA* POS: Sr. Oracle DBA LOC: Livingston, NJ Duration: 6 Months * * * * *MUST HAVE 7+ YEARS ORACLE DBA EXPERIENCE AS WELL AS 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH ORACLE IAS ADMIN* We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to help us upgrade/migrate all our production and non-production databases from HP-UX to AIX power server. To be a successful candidate you must have strong and comprehensive Oracle Database and Oracle Application Server administration skills. Required Skills: -- 7 years minimum experience as an Oracle DBA required. -- 5 years minimum experience as an Oracle iAS admin required. -- Excellent oral and written communication skills required. -- Must be proficient with Oracle 10g/11g. -- Knowledge and experience in performing database upgrades for Oracle databases and Oracle Application Server 9iAS/10g -- Must be proficient with advanced Oracle backup and recovery techniques. -- Must be proficient with Oracle RMAN. -- Configure and administer Oracle10g Application Server. Setup J2EE applications, deploy EAR/WAR files etc. -- Trouble-shoot Oracle Application Server issues including performance tuning -- Strong experience in tuning/AWR/ADDM and monitoring tools like OEM. Ability to analyze key performance metrics using OEM tool.
