*Senior Informatica Administrator*

Minimum 7 years of Informatica development & Administration experience
(using Power Center client tools)



Roles and responsibilities:



1. Develop PowerCenter mappings, workflows and sessions in v8.6

2. Build interfaces with SAP using Informatica PowerExchange for SAP R/3 and
JMS

3. Develop UNIX scripts

4. DB2 and Oracle PL/SQL, SQL queries, stored procedures

5. Proactively monitor batches/interfaces and provide statistics to
management

6. Troubleshoot performance of workflows/sessions and UNIX processes

7. Troubleshoot technical issues with Informatica admin and/or Informatica
tech support

8. Hands-on experience with Domain Admin Console, user management,
start/stop PowerCenter, PowerChannel, PowerExchange services

9. Informatica administration, deployments, address environment issues, user
access, etc



*** Specialized/Practical Knowledge:



Architect ETL solutions for development project/enhancements Data
warehousing experience

Sound working knowledge of UNIX shell scripting

Sound working knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle, DB2

Sound knowledge of complete SDLC and ability to perform well in all phases
of the project life cycle

Good documentation and communications skills

Hands-on PowerCenter, PowerChannel, PowerExchange experience. Well versed
with v8 architecture and abitlity to do administration





*** Management Skill:

There is no direct report to this position but it requires good coordination
skills to ensure the delivery of objects and tasks from off-shore team



*** Interaction:



To effecively interact with client and and end-users and other IT teams



*** Complexity/Problem Solving: Ability to trouble shoot complex production
support problems in Informatica administraction and development space in
timely manners to meet the SLAs



*** Accountability: Well versed with System level agreements (SLAs) in an
outsoursing enviroment.
