*ASP.NET Developer *Location:*Down Town,Toronto ,Canada* Duration:*Its a contract position which may turn into full time depending upon candidates performance.* *Job Requirements* • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, documentation, design, development, testing and maintenance. • Maintain and document applications written in .NET and ASP.NET(C#), JavaScript, jQuery and other web technologies • Provide programming, analysis and coordination efforts for software development and maintenance related to the above web sites, applications and interactive projects. • Scope out technical aspects of assigned projects, ensure all components are delivered on-time, on-target and on-budget with a focus on strong documentation and clean code, and efficient use of bandwidth/resources. • Recommend and implement strategies when faced with new development challenges • Troubleshoot and repair bugs or application deficiencies as required *Qualifications* • Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience • College or University Degree (Computer Science, Programming, Information Systems) a definite advantage • A demonstrated track record of designing, deploying and successfully maintaining a wide variety of applications for the web. • Proven expertise with Microsoft Web Development tools, Frameworks, Databases, and Server Technologies (MS IIS, Windows Server, ASP.NET 1.1, 2.0, 3.5, ASP, DCOM, C#, etc) • Experience with XML/XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML/XHTML, DHTML, AJAX • Experience with any the following technologies would be considered an asset: cloud computing, Flash, streaming video, iOS development, Android development, other mobile development, Ektron CMS, Endeca search • Understanding of Object-Oriented analysis and design (OOA/D) • Solid comprehension of the full software development life-cycle • A firm focus on quality and reusability of code • Very strong attention to detail • A proactive and logical/iterative approach to solving problems and troubleshooting • Experience communicating technical details to non-technical team members • Must have excellent communication skills and be a solid team player • Must be excited about technology in general and digital media in particular In order to apply for same, send me your updated resume along with 3 professional references and let me know the best time to reach you.
