*Key Responsibilities: *Analysis of system logs to identify events of interest. Testing and evaluation in support of change management and certification & accreditation. Vulnerability analysis and assessment. Analysis of security notifications to identify and prioritize threats and vulnerabilities. Analysis and assessment in support of incident response activities. Evaluation and assessment of systems to support compliance verification. Education and training in support of security awareness. *Requirements (mandatory):* Ability to efficiently and effectively analyze large volumes of data to identify events of interest. Strong analytical skills to understand complex systems in order to identify key components, dependencies, weaknesses etc. Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and independently without assistance or strict supervision. Strong practical knowledge of networking and security components including routers, switches, firewalls, & IDS. Hands-on experience with SIEM solutions. Solid practical knowledge of common operating systems and applications. Competent with security testing and evaluation tools. Strong practical scripting language skills (e.g. shell, Perl, python, etc). Knowledge of information security principles, practices, standards & guidelines. At least two (2) years of prior employment in the field of information security. Excellent written and oral communication skills. *Requirements (desirable):* Practical knowledge of process control systems (e.g. SCADA, DCS etc) and their components. Recognized certifications including: MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, GIAC, CISA, CISSP etc. BS in computer science.
