*Job Description*
Reporting to the Manager of the Server Team, the Technical Lead’s primary
responsibility is working with engineering members to deliver products from
the Server Team. This person will work with Server Team members to deliver
these products to QA. They will also work with our Product Management and QA
organizations to drive projects to completion.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Engineer / Technical Lead who is
technically hands on with the ability to lead 4-6 engineers. They will be
highly organized, self directed, energetic, focused, and experienced in
building high-performance, scalable and robust applications.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical skills for effective problem solving solutions.
- Core Java and J2EE Technologies (JSP, Servlets, JDBC, etc.).
- Familiarity with Java threading model.
- Proficiency working with relational databases, ANSI SQL and Oracle
database systems with very large data sets.
- Proficiency in object-oriented design/analysis and UML.
- Proficiency with Web Services and concurrent systems design.
- Experience in hands-on, in-depth analysis, review, reverse-engineering,
and design of software, including technical review and analysis of source
code.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- Healthcare domain experience.
- Proficiency with Hibernate.
- Proficiency in object-oriented design/analysis and UML.
- Working knowledge of Agile SDLC (software development lifecycle);
requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation.
- Proficiency with Spring.
- Proficiency with various XML technologies (XSD, XPath, XSLT).
Required Experience
- Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Solid computer science foundation.
- 7+ years of recent hands on experience in the software industry.
- 1+ years in a technical leadership position.
