Title:* IBM Tivoli Lead* Location:* Camp Hill, PA* Duration:* 12+ months* *Responsibilities Responsible for installation, maintenance, and support systems management of Tivoli monitoring landscape to include the consolidation of multiple monitoring offerings into the Tivoli framework as defined by:* *• Accountable for mapping future strategic process and monitoring architecture to new product enhancements, within customer policies, processes & procedures. • Work with product teams & customer Event Management staff to understand and map process and monitoring needs to standard architecture. • Support customer Event Management staff to maintain Tivoli components and respective rule bases, class definitions, rule sets, and scripts. • Support customer Event Management staff in maintaining and prune Tivoli databases. • Create/maintain reports using Tivoli Enterprise Portal, Tivoli Data Warehouse, & Tivoli Common Reporting so users can easily run their own queries. • Support customer Event Management staff to enhance standard process and monitoring architecture • Provide development instrumentation and recommendations to product teams • Provide best practices and experience to customer Event Management staff for improved support • Provide reports and statistics on operation of system and application performance in supported environments using Tivoli Composite Application Manager & Tivoli Common Reporting • Participate in capacity and disaster recovery planning and asset management • Participate in cross-functional analysis of problems • Develop backup procedures and database administration processes for critical business data and manages consolidation and archival of application/log data • Provide second/third tier support during monthly outages and special rollouts, including troubleshooting, correcting system and security problems • Monitor system, application security and performance tuning as appropriate, offering suggestions based on best practices and experience to improve monitoring & performance* *REQUIRED SKILLS • Must possess extensive experience in Tivoli Monitoring 6.2.2, Tivoli Composite Application Manager, Tivoli Enterprise Portal & Tivoli Common Reporting, Netcool/OMNIbus and Tivoli Enterprise Console. • IT Change and Problem Management • IBM Certified Tivoli Administrator with experience in managing Production Support of Tivoli • Develop System Operating Procedures • Perform System Performance Tuning • Implementation Tivoli System Mgmt/MonitoringCreate Tivoli Deployment • ITM • Distributed Monitoring • IBM AIX, Netcool/OMNIbus experience • Windows 2008, 2008 R2 **• Must have a general knowledge of scripting (Perl, Shell, etc) and operating systems UNIX/ LINUX and Windows* -- Arun Panigrahi *Xpert**Tech Inc * **400 W Cummings Park, Suite#2850 Woburn, MA-01801 Email: [email protected] Phone: 781-926-0781 Fax: 781-207-0709 www.xperttech.com <http://www.linkedin.com/in/arunpanigrahi> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business Objects User Group" group.
