*Job Description*:-
- Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications for
functional areas such as finance, accounting, personnel, manpower,
logistics, and contracts. Develop block diagrams and logic flowcharts.
- Translates detailed design into computer software. Tests, debugs, and
refines the computer software to produce the required product.
- Prepares required documentation, including both program‐level and
user‐level documentation. Enhances software to reduce operating time or
improve efficiency.
- Provides technical direction to programmers as required to ensure
program deadlines are met.
- Works with project team to identify and document requirements (e.g.
business process modeling, use case development, etc.). Plans, prepares,
documents, prototypes, codes, and implements applications to meet business
needs.
- Performs application development and implementation according to the
County’s Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Sets up and executes program
test runs. Analyzes test results.
- Diagnoses and corrects programming errors. Bachelors Degree preferably
in Business, MIS or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years developing and modifying applications using
J2EE, C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, or VB; Application development in a RDBMS;
- Strong knowledge Structured Query Language (SQL); Documenting test
conditions, creating test data, testing programs, and analyzing results;
Analysis of program and production problems;
- Preferred Qualifications/Skill Sets
- Developing Crystal Reports; Strong knowledge of relational databases
and concepts (Oracle preferred)
