Position: Sr. Java Web Developer (WILL HIRE FROM PHONE) Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 5 months Rate: $50/hr Senior Developer - Java Web Platform Senior Associate technology *Main duties and responsibilities:* - 4-6 years Development with Java related technologies - 2-3 years Architecture with Java related technologies - 1-2 years experience with the product (atleast two strong projects with the product in recent past) - Experience should be well rounded with experience on all aspects of WPS - portal architecture, configuration/installation, design, development and production support. - Strong professional experience working as a IBM Portal developer. - Experience with creating T*hemes and Skins with IBM portal*. - Experience with creating custom content and transactional portlets. - Knowledge of JSR 168 and JSR 286 specifications and aware of the changes introduced in JSR 286 specification. - IBM Portal Concepts like PUMA API, Login/Security, Virtual Portals, Navigation SPIs and Interportlet Communication. - Experience with IBM RAD IDE. - Experience with Maven scripting and understands Build and Deployment process. - Experience with TestNG or other JUnit testing framework. Applicant must meet ALL of these requirements.
