* * * * POS: Project Manager LOC: NYC(Prefer Locals) Duration: 6 Months Summary: We are seeking a talented, process oriented Project Management candidate with strong Fixed Income product, & operational workflow experience. Individual will be required to support short-term Fortis Integration project. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide Project Management to Fortis Integration project. Coordination / creation of user requirements documents, functional specs, project plans, test scripts, & performing integration, regression, & UAT testing. Interface with business users and subject matter experts to define requirements and refine the details necessary for enhancements to current infrastructure. Communicate status and report issues to the Business & IT management. Qualifications & Required Skill Set: Undergraduate Degree in Finance or related field. 7 years experience in and command of Project Management principals. Demonstrated ability to execute on them. Minimum 3 years working with and/or knowledge of CMMi or similar project management methodology. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong Fixed Income Product Knowledge. In depth understanding of trading activities and operations support structures. Ability to become key member of project teams & support members to achieve agreed milestones. Dynamic leadership skills. Proactive team player with a "can-do" attitude. Excellent analytical problem solver.
