Skills:
. Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively (verbally
and in writing) with technical and user staff
. Demonstrated experience as technical team lead for database driven
application developments projects 2+ years required.
. Demonstrated experience with coaching/mentoring other developers
with Microsoft Technologies
. Demonstrated experience with developing database driven web
applications
. Demonstrated experience with developing database driven
applications in a Microsoft C#,.NET environment
. Demonstrated experience with SQL Server
. Demonstrated experience with Oracle
. Demonstrated experience with SQL Server Reporting Services
. Demonstrated experience on development projects utilizing agile
development techniques
. Demonstrated experience with users to gather and document business
requirements
. Demonstrated experience with SQL Server Integration Services to
support ETL processing
. Demonstrated experience with screen/web layout and design.
. Demonstrated experience with automated unit testing.
. Demonstrated experience with Model-View-Presenter Pattern.(MVPP)
. Experience working for a government agency.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
. Report to Enterprise Architecture Manager
. Mentor Department staff in the use of .NET, Visual Studio, SQL
Server and Oracle
. work closely with business analysts, software architects, software
developers, project managers and customers to develop
documented business requirements and technical specifications
. Develop and or modify project and technical documentation as
required.
. Develop new .NET web, smart client and console applications, based
on the Departments' existing .NET enterprise framework,
that meet the needs of defined business requirements and technical
specifications
. Participate in agile development teams
. Provide software maintenance for existing .NET applications
. Provide technical support for troubleshooting and repairing
existing .NET applications
