*Role: SharePoint SME Architect*

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 3months+



Sharepoint Architect SME with over 10+ years’ experience in SharePoint
design and implementation. Must have Sharepoint 2010 experience leveraging
sharepoint through the entire software development lifecycle.



*Skill and Role Summary:*

This person will establish themselves as a SME during the Carrier HVAC
Partner fusion. The SME will be involved in gathering technical business
requirements, interfacing with the client, understanding the client’s
infrastructure.  The SME will create technical deliverables of high quality
that will be incorporated with the overall client deliverables.

*Main duties and responsibilities:*

What the contractor will be going on a day to day basis.

•         Interacting with Enterprise Architect groups and client to
understand their specific business requirements and how SharePoint can be
architected to achieve those business requirements

•         Collaboratively work with the Project Manager in Planning,
Estimation, Execution/Implementation, Risk Management (assessment,
mitigation)

•         Daily tasks of working with technical teams, testers, User
Interface professionals, Vendors, Clients (Business and IT teams)



*Requirements:*

Client facing skills, experience in user journeys, leading IA track, Visual
design experience

•         Infrastructure Level/Operational

•         Capacity Planning

•         Physical Architecture (Farm Setup, Network, OS, Licensing)

•         Application level (Functional and Non-Functional)\

•         Requirement and Feasibility Analysis (Custom Vs OOTB
Development/Implementation)

•         Techno-functional Mapping of requirements

•         Information Architecture

•         Logical Architecture

•         Conceptual Architecture

•         Detailed Design

•         Database design (not in terms of traditional Database design),
this is with respect to Number of content Databases for Site collections/web
apps.

•         Deployment

•         Best way to go for deployment, first time and incremental
