*Job Title * *Datawarehousing Developer - Data Modeler* *Summary* This individual will serve as a DW Senior Developer within the Business Intelligence/ Data Warehousing Team. This position will be responsible for analyzing data needs and requirements of business users to design and create complex environments supporting multiple business segments. As a BI/DW Senior Developer you will be working with business and IT management to understand and prioritize data and information requirements. Researching new technologies and developing business cases to support these recommendations to promote solution for enterprise wide DW. *Responsibilities* · Collaborating with client application product managers, business partners and others to architect, design and develop warehouse structures, reporting data marts, ODS (Operational Data Stores), ETL process and reports · Working with client Application Developer (Source Systems) to understand application data models and develop appropriately optimized queries and calculations meeting the business partner’s needs. · Testing and validation of underlying warehouse and data mart data to source · Performance testing and optimization of the underlying warehouse and Data mart · Coach less senior warehouse developers · Develop, implement and maintain standards established by Data Warehousing Team *Required Skills * · Minimum of 6 years in the Data Warehouse/Data Mart/Database Design & Development · 5 Years database experience – Oracle 10g or higher (Preferred), MS SQL Server · Experience in data modeling and Business Objects experience (Operational, Data Warehouse, and Data Mart Design) with the ability to handle large data sets. · Must demonstrate the ability to management of large, complex data warehousing environments using Oracle (preferred) or MS SQL Server · Effectively communicate both written and orally in both business and technical terms tailoring message based on the audience/level within the organization. · Ensure project activities are results oriented, performance driven and conform to client best practices and process.
