Job Title: QA Analyst Location: Reading, PA Duration: Long Term, Ongoing Job Description: An experienced QA Analyst to join a team of QA Analysts. This team currently supports a variety of applications, using similar but different tool sets, and different testing methodologies. The person that we are seeking will work on many different and diversified projects that include GUI testing, backend testing, stress and load testing. The candidate must be able to perform many of the position requirements listed below. The candidate should be highly motivated and have a strong desire to learn new applications and testing approaches. The candidate must be a quick study and capable of working in a fast paced and challenging environment. The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to relay and express ideas in a technical and business forum with lead developers, analysts and product managers. The ability to think out of the box is required. The responsibilities of this position are clearly articulated below. Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: * Create/document detailed testing plans, test cases and scripts for all of the projects that are assigned to this role. * Articulate issues and opinions to a diverse set of individuals from different disciplines (business, development, management). * Work closely with the various development teams and understand the development concepts related to the project Minimum experience includes: . 5+ years of QA experience in a structured technical environment or equivalent Development experience. . Must be able to work independently and with other QA Analyst's on projects when required. . 5+ years of Domestic Equity experience . 2+ years of experience with automated testing tools (AEGIS, Greenline VeriFIX, etc). . Real-time equities trading systems analysis experience. . Knowledge of mainstream EMS or OMS platforms is a plus . Creation of detailed testing documentation. . Excellent oral and written technical communication skills. . Ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical personnel. . Acute attention to detail and reliable problem-solving ability. . Desire/ability to work with multiple projects, technologies and teams. . Good knowledge of the FIX Protocol and electronic trading.
