Position: IP WAN/LAN Configuration Specialist
Location: San Luis Obispo, CA
Duration: 4 months
IN A NUTSHELL:
This Global Advertising company has acquired a Digital Marketing Company
located in various US locations.
The role's responsiblity will be the END-TO-END IP RECONFIGURATION of the
acquired company's WAN. Responsibilities will include Assessment,
Recommendation & Implementation.
Travel will be required (2-4 days/week). All expenses will be reimbursed.
Interview Process: 1-2 Phone Interviews, 1 In-Person (can be virtual)
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University, preferably in Computer
Science, Information Systems or equivalent program or IT experience required
Advanced technical certification in field of expertise (e.g., MCSE,
CNE, CCNP, CCSE)
Minimum 5 yrs IT experience working for a medium to large company;
global network connectivity environment (ie firewalls,VPN, DHCP/DNS, MPLS)
Minimum 1 yrs experience with network infrastructure (ie Wan,
structured Cabling, switching, wireless, DHCP/DNS, VPN, DHCP/DNS, VLAN)
troubleshooting and problem solving
Experience as lead technician as network infrastructure configuration
and installation; network infrastructure assessment and planning (ie
DHCP/DNS, structured cabling, switching hardware, wireless hardware, VoIP,
VPN, VLAN, troubleshooting and problem resolution, ITIL, vender interaction)
Experience in system design network infrastructure assessment and
planning, WAN, DHCP/DNS, wireless infrastructure, VoIP infrastructure,
project management, communication and coordination
Experience implementing best-practice processes and procedures
Experience leading small projects
Successful or timely completion of ITIL Foundations
Knowledge of the Advertising and/or Marketing business a plus
At least 1 year of experience delivering IT solutions within a
corporate and/or high volume environment is a plus
