Candidates who do not possess each of the required skills will be not considered qualified.) * *- Must have 6-7 years experience in providing Linux hardware/software support* * - Requires excellent trouble shooting skills - Very proficient in developing/maintaining Linux shell scripts(ksh, bourne, csh, awk) - Very proficient with storage arrays, backup strategies and developing files systems for large labor intensive databases. - Must have TCP/IP networking skills. - Experience with patch management! * *• In-depth UNIX background (Redhat Linux 5.x and OEL 5.x) o High Availability, Load Balancing, and Disaster Recovery o Shell Scripting o Troubleshooting complex issues o Ability to install and manage multiple application environments.* * • In-depth knowledge of HP hardware • In-depth networking background • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Good project management and vendor negotiation skills * *• Ability to assimilate new technologies and manage change. • Ability to work with developers and end users in a professional manner to resolve business critical problems in a high stress environment.
