Position: SSIS ETL Consultant
Location: CHICAGO! !
Duration: 2 months
Minimum Requirements:
4+ years of relevant BI / Data Warehouse experience utilizing any
combination of SQL Server and Cognos is highly preferred
4+ Hands-on programming experience with Perl, stored procedures, TSQL &
Triggers
3+Experience with Reporting and ETL tools and Visual Studio (VB)
required. SSIS, SSRS, SSAS preferred
Strong analytical background
Working knowledge in designing, developing, implementing and
maintaining media data applications.
Knowledge of Data Warehouse technology and BI (preferably Cognos).
Experience with waterfall and iterative development cycles.
Clearly articulate ideas and thoughts verbally
Must be a self starter and able to work efficiently with minimal
supervision
Ability to work closely with the Technical Lead and business users to
achieve business goals
Experience in Media data bases is preferred
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or related discipline, is
required.
Applicant must meet ALL of these requirements.
Description:
The Business Intelligence and Data warehouse SQL Developer will be
responsible for developing media analytics and reporting infrastructure,
ensuring data accuracy, developing various functional components of the
data warehouse including ETL processes, data cleansing, system
enchantments, load automation, exception handling and others.
