Position: SQL DBA
Location: Redmond, WA
Duration: 6-12 Months
Summary :
. Strong SQL Database Development skills and good knowledge in SQL
Administration.
. Ability to develop BI solutions with MicrosoftR SQL Server
Integration Service (SSIS) and Reporting Services 2008/2005
Required Experience:
. At least minimum 5 years of experience in SQL BI domain.
. Relational database and ETL capabilities using MS SQL Server 2008
Business Intelligence Studio and SQL Server Management Studio
. Installation, configuration & maintenance of MS SQL Server
2008/2005 for OLAP system.
. SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) ability to design and develop
reports
. SQL Server Information Services (SSIS) ability to design and
develop reports
Creating database T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, views,
tables, indexes, constraints and user defined functions using MS SQL Server
2008/2005
. Database Backup and Recovery
. Performance Tuning and Database Consistency Checks using DBCC
commands
. Debugging Stored Procedures and Triggers, Troubleshooting database
issues
. Performance Monitor/Profiler to resolve Dead Locks or long running
queries.
Preferred Experience:
. Power Shell scripting
. MS SQL Clustering, Replication and Log Shipping
. Migration from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008
. C# or VB.Net
