Job Title: COBOL Programmer Location: St.Louis, MO Duration: 12+months Required Experience: . Extensive IBM z/OS (MVS) application programming experience using COBOL and CICS. . Extensive experience writing JCL and Procedures for testing, ad-hoc jobs and production. . In-depth experience with IBM DB2 including complex application code, ad-hoc queries and Stored Procedures. . Performing production support for large, mission-critical financial systems. . Finance Industry experience working with Credit / Debit / Prepaid cards and in-depth knowledge of payments topics including Single / Dual Message, ISO Messaging, Authorizations, Settlement, Chargebacks and EMV Chip Cards. Highly Desirable: . Previous experience with CSC / Hogan Umbrella architecture and banking applications including Customer Information System (CIS), Integrated Deposit or Loans, and CAMS. . Familiarity with designing / building mainframe Web Services for consumption by distributed front-end systems, using IBM WebSphere or similar middleware. . Experience with ACI Base24 or similar ISO Message based systems. . Experience performing large-scale conversions of financial systems from banks or other third-party processors on to a large mainframe CICS / DB2 system. Other: . Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule including rotating 24x7 production support responsibilities, portfolio conversions and code implementations outside of normal business hours.
