Job Title: Senior Java Developer with BRE Location: Orlando, FL Duration: 11 month contract. Description: 7 years of J2EE Oracle 11g PL/SQL BRE (Business Rules Engine) Tool Set: Eclipse IDE; Maven/Nexus preferred. MS Excel/Visual Basic Macros fluent. 2. Work Products: A two Stage process of implementing a business-rules function for transactional data comparison application: 1) Short term: Design, develop and deliver macros for existing field-level discrepancy reports in Excel that will identify records that meet certain criteria to be flagged. 2) Long term: Design, develop and deliver a business-rules based solution in Java (J2EE) to replace the short-term solution. The system will be documented to the standards that our architect desires. 3. Day-to-Day Activities: Work with system architect and design lead to define scope, milestones and architecture of the system. Work with Business Analyst to understand desired ruleset to be implemented. Development of short term solution to prove concept before development and implementation of Java solution.
