*Position : Netbackup Administrator* *Location : Lexington, MA* *Duration : 1 year contract* *MUST:* 3-4 years Netbackup administration Must have administrated NetBackup in large environments Windows 2000/2003/2008 Working knowledge of Unix CLI for the Netbackup install clients Report Building in Ops Center (NOM/OPS) Working knowledge of Data Protector Migration (understand its functionality) *PLUS:* Familiar with Cisco and Brocade SAN switches Documentation in Visio Ability to write SQL queries 3 par storage arrays Netapp DataDomain *Role:* This position will be part of a team that is migrating 3 environments into one. The first stage will require a lot of documentation and building reports. They will research current backup windows via NOM/OPS reports-marking how long each system takes to backup and assist the manager in scheduling the backup of those systems. Netbackup policy renaming and standardization-including location of server and product or development testing. They will assist in creating new policies and standardizing processes. Stage 2 will be the implementation. They will be creating a host of new policies and test them extensively as they migrate the current Data Protector backup environment to Netbackup.
