*Technical Manager* *SACWIS (State of Oregon - State Automated Child Welfare System)* *Location: Salem, OR* *Duration: 5 months with extensions* *Technical Manager* Candidate will be responsible for technical leadership across a support team of approximately 11 members, consisting of the system administrator, DBAs, and others. Additional responsibilities include contribution to the proposed technical architecture, oversight and/or configuration of selected system modules and software, participation in testing efforts, troubleshooting technical issues, and technical team management. *Primary Job Responsibilities: * • Manage the team members responsible for supporting the operating system configuration, databases, software development, and tools in multiple development, integration and production environments. • Support the installation of the primary project tools including JBoss ESB server, JBoss application server, SQL Server, and other tools required for the development and production environments • Ensure project tools and software are maintained for the effective use by the team throughout the project life cycle • Ensure solutions are of high quality, high performance and scalable • Collaborate with other team members for transition/transformation planning activities • Act as the technical coordination point between the application teams and the Client Technical team. • Provide 24x7x365 on-call support for application technical issues once the system is in production *Required Skills: * • 5+ years experience leading technical teams (System Admin, DBA, etc.) in development and production environments • 5+ years technical experience with Web application development on a J2EE platform and using Struts framework • 3+ years configuration management and release management experience, and familiarity with Application Server and Web Server configurations • Experience working with JSP, JS, Java, SQL Server (including database performance monitoring) and near expert knowledge level of SQL • Experience in managing large technical teams, with some team members working remotely. • Ability to collaborate with members from a variety of support teams including the application, testing, configuration management, and hosting team technical representatives • Understanding interrelationships and impacts of systems and applications upon the technical environment • Excellent oral and written communication skills *Desired Skills: *• Experience in the Local Government sector • *Experience working with SACWIS solutions* • Familiarity with different enterprise software architectures *Education *• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline Thanks & Regards Ankur Singh 415-259-4694 GTalk-ankuracetek9 Yahoo IM- ankur_acetek -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business Objects User Group" group.
