Please do let me know any references. *Job Title * *BI Analyst - Reports [ Micro Strategy / Crystal ]* *Summary* Client is looking for a skilled business intelligence analyst experienced in information delivery (canned reports, dynamic reports, data extracts and OLAP) to help with tactical and strategic information delivery from several systems and for the End User Reporting team to design and implement information management solutions which deliver critical information to a broad range of several department professionals. *Reqd Experience*** · *Data Navigation and Analysis:* Ability to navigate using SQL, through the complex and interrelated data warehouse databases. Provide comprehensive analysis utilizing a variety of enterprise-wide applications including querying and report writing tools. Develop, test, implement, maintain and troubleshoot all related processes including stored procedures that are used to for existing or newly created reports. · *Optimization of Information Delivery and Data Resources: *Review existing information delivery solutions and recommend changes and improvements in program development, distribution and information content. Review databases for optimized views (analysis cubes), linkages and reformulation. · Develop database stored procedures, scripts, and packages that meet data flow requirements. · *Interface with multiple users across the organization and effectively project-manage reporting requirements from start to finish.* · *Understand existing data structures, business logic, and maintain existing reports.* · *Provide technical support for all report applications.* · *Focus on user needs in defining user requirements and retrieving accurate information/reporting from data sources.* *Required Skills * · 3+ years of Report writing expertise, especially with Crystal/Micro Strategy Reporting or other Business Intelligence tools. · Advanced T-SQL proficiency including procedures, functions, and debugging techniques · Experience with Transact or ANSI SQL including query optimization · Experience with developing OLAP solutions. · Technical writing skills to document business rules extracted from data analysis · Technical writing skills to document meta data extracted from data analysis · Proficient knowledge of UNIX (Linux) and/or Perl is preferred · Preferable skills include: Data warehouse experience. Scripting Perl, Unix Shell or ETL tool.
