Analysts should have experience deploying application files (JAR, WAR or EAR). Exp. supporting business applications support (large ERP or J2EE Enterprise) application & related web application servers (IBM Websphere, iPlanet, Apache) Application Support Analyst must be able to read & analyze log files Heavy file manipulation here Responsible for deploying applications on a zLinux/Unix platform Must have application server experience Must be familiar with scripting using PERL or Bash for Linux or Jython Position will also be responsible for Scheduling, Release Mgmt and File Transferring CA Wiley Introscope or Opsview used along with in-house developed monitoring tools UNIX / Linux Technical support required Electronic File Transfer protocols MKS for Release Management, IBM Tivoli Scheduler & MS Office products experience Soft Skills Required: Application Support Analysts must be an analytical problem solver & detail oriented Must be able to work well independently & as part of team Willingness to share knowledge & adhere to tight schedules Must be able to pass Drug Screen &Background Check Companion Data Services (CDS), a privately held company founded in 2005, offers secure data center hosting services.
