Junior Wintel Engineer Location: Fort Worth, TX Duration: 12+ Months with possible long-term extension Rate: $40/hr all inclusive (no flexibility) Conducts design and technical planning of migrations from Stand-Alone or early vintage virtualized MS-DOS / Windows environments to high density virtualized blade infrastructure leveraging VMWare ESXi with connectivity to SAN storage using fiber-optic or other leading edge I/O technologies as well as high-availability technologies required to facilitate mission-critical, high-density virtualization. Successful candidate will have extensive experience in a collaborative work environment, and possess extensive knowledge of VMware, Microsoft and non-Microsoft tool sets from vendors including Veritas, Quest, Varonis, BMC, and EMC. This position will require technical collaboration with management, application development, project managers and other infrastructure engineering groups. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Requirements: • Windows Batch or Powershell Scripting required. • Systems Administration experience with Windows on Intel based processors • Experience with technical troubleshooting methodology • Experience with Active Directory • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Sever 2003/2008 Operating System, including installation, configuration, support, and maintenance Experience creating virtual machines in vSphere 4.1\5.0 Thanks!
