Thank you for the info and I'll watch for the update. I think that
Roland Mainz will be on top of this because he compiles up the tarball
for OpenSolaris. I think that I'll grab the sources and create a
package for Solaris 8 ( and 9 and 10 ) and release that from
Blastwave.org.

In the mean time I need to reinstall the latest release because the
OpenSolaris pkg image-update process has tromped over my ksh93 shell.
