Hi - I'm getting strange results when I use the grep applet from a statically compiled busybox 1.8.2 and 1.9 on X86 compiled with gcc 4.1.3 against glibc-2.6.1.
I guess it is a bug because in the same environment a statically compiled busybox 1.1.3-4 (Debian Package) works as expected, apart from informing me that it is "Using fallback suid method", even though it is called by root. The command: grep x file works as expected. While: grep x file > output.file creates an empty file 'output.file' when using 1.8.2 and 1.9 (busybox-20080205). 1.1.3 works. Filesystem is ext3, mounted read/write. How can I help? cu elektra _______________________________________________ busybox mailing list [email protected] http://busybox.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/busybox
