Yes, you did. Thank you for that. Hopefully we can get this into a release at some point :) Now, about why this was a problem in the first place: I'm using an AT91RM9200, Atmel system-on-a-chip with an arm 920T core. This processor has lots of I/O registers that can be conveniently read and written with devmem.
