> Or, better, you might consider using popmaildir and new Maildir/ format for your mail box. It's much safer.
I don't like maildir! Too many files hanging around. Too much wasted space. My current INBOX holds about 400 Messages, my log reception boxes hold between 1000 and 3000 messages (One message every 4 hours or so). I won't have this as Maildir formats and I don't like to have different formats. And why is Maildir safer? Locking works perfect, I never had any trouble with this. I don't use popmaildir at this machine ... it has a postfix mail system receiving the mail, delivering to dovecot which manages the mailboxes (IMAP server only, no POP). I just tried to filter some messages out of my INBOX (using procmail and thought of sending it to reformail. That's it what I did ... but it doesn't work (or needs an extra step of line termination conversion). I think reformail should definitely accept both line terminations or you are not able to use reformail easily on a standard MBOX type sytem. _______________________________________________ busybox mailing list [email protected] http://lists.busybox.net/mailman/listinfo/busybox
