I take you also will need ipconfig, as it seems to be the tool developed
to handle IP autoconfiguration thingy:
    ip=<client-ip>:<server-ip>:<gw-ip>:<netmask>:<hostname>:<device>:<method>
I'm looking at it right now.
Can you point me to scripts / other places where it is used in Debian?
