Lazyness (which on it's own is not bad as such - I'm also lazy like
most prgrammers;-) but - additionally and - more the miseducation from
the M$FT-World where far too many people expect everything to work out
of the box (which it does for 90% of all cases if one runs everything
on default values/configuration) for their own intentions (especially
if one adapted the own workflow and habits - if they ever had another
one - to that) and if it doesn't work out of the box, they ran around
finding someone to fix their very own problems for ages instead to
learn how the stuff (supposed to) work and fix it themselves in short
time.
And of course, there are lots of (so-called) excuses not being "able"
to learn that ...
