Papilio liomedon also lays clutches in stacks. T. 
R. Bell observed and described this over a 
century ago and i think susanth has good 
pictures. P. liomedon is related to P. demolion, 
so that's no particular surprise. i wonder how P. 
gigon lays eggs, that also seems to be very 
closely related to P. demolion-liomedon.

i will check whether Bell describes the stacked 
eggs of C. thais, he probably does because he 
observed its life-cycle closely.
