Dear Members, Last Sunday (07.09.2008), the Kolkata team visited IndianBotanic Garden at Shibpur in Howrahdistrict. Total 6 participants were present. The weather was sunny in the morning session (very hot and humid), but started raining heavily after 2 pm, so we left the place earlier. We observed less butterfly activities and bird movement. A total of 33 butterfly species were observed (in comparison to 47 species, observed during last trip, dt. 27.7.2008). Regards, Rudra
