Hi friends,
On 4th sept i sighted Southern birdwing butterfly at 2 different
locations in Dharwad and also a Red helen. I was really thrilled with the
sightings as it was for the first time I was seeing them in Dharwad. I think
these 2 are western ghat species can you guys pls give any explanation for
their presence in dharwad? btw dharwad is just 65 km frm Dandeli and we can
find dry deciduous forests just at the distance of 15 kms from the city
