JM, since there has been no mention of Common Emigrant (Catopsilia pomona) 
adults, this pupa can only be that of the Mottled (C. pyranthe), the immature 
stages of the two species being very similar in appearance.

I don't know whether it may be of Mottled Emigrant (Catopsilia pyranthe) as we 
saw a lot of their caterpillar activity along with plenty of their Pupas & 
newly emerging butterflies from them, which you will see in my other posts. But 
this Cat appeared a bit different- different from the one just pupating (of 
Mottled Emigrant) as per attached picture.
