Hope you are fine. I am fine out here, now joined
Digboi College,Digboi, Assam as Zoology Lecturer. I
could only identify your two caterpillars but not to
the species level but upto the family. picture with
2JPEG caterpillar is the Papilionidae, and the next
with Pic No. 6. JPEG could be Common Crow or may be
Tigers. It is very difficult to guse in their larval
stage, unless they were observed in Lab. condition or
one has to keep continous observation of these larval
daily in natural condition it is difficult to say
which is what. Rest I am still working on my Butterfly
at Jokai since from Aug,2006 at Jokai RF with just 18
sq. km area under forest where diversity is 202
species till date, and there are more, species which i
just couldnot because of their fast flight and top
canopy flight. I think yoy all enjoyed buterflying in
the current meet.
