Dear Gauri,

You can buy my Butterfky Book at BNHS (Hornbill House) at 25% discount if you
or your friends are members. Or just order from a good book stall so that they
can purchase from Oxford University Press from Mumbai. Oxford  University Press
distributes this book all over the world.

For Wildflowers of Sahyadris and Book of Indian Butterflies  you can also
contact Strand Book Shop, P M Road, Mumbai 400001.
Cheers!
Isaac

Dear Harshad,

Looks like you are not referring your books.
The Unidied_Brushfooted DSC_6428.JPG is Common Mime and the mating
Ceruleans are the Common Cerulean. Try to ID others and tell.
Cheers!

Hello!

Some butterflies shot on campus at Calicut. Not sure about the id of the
Cerulean. Have absolutely no clue what the brown is ( pic no. 5 ).... doesnt
come close to anything I've seen before... nor anything in the book.

The Flat ( 6 ) looks similar to a Spotted Small Flat, but there are significant
differences in the white patches on the forewings. The SSF's wing border is not
continuous as that in the photo attached.

The skipper ( 8 ) looks familiar, but again, I couldn't pin down any particular
species.

The brushfooted butterfly ( 9 ), again I have no clue about. Flight very
different from a tiger flight.

Cheers,
