Subject: [ButterflyIndia] swimming orchid tit!!!

Dear friends!

an amazing sight from Namdapha National Park
on the banks of Noa Dehing
I was attracted by an orchid tit sitting pretty in shallow water;started
clicking the butterfly
very close and suddenly it purposefully went into the stream and started
drifting away.....
avoiding every chance to escape....and after completing a short distance around
fourfeet
it coasted onto a dry leaf and fluttered away!!!

will that qualify for a shot of the year!
(I am still struggling to choose a shot from my 2008 pics,
shot around 400 species of butterflies, may decide upon something soon)
