arjan, that was a very good summary of your 2008, and your group has indeed done well. if you like challenges, rudra and you should try to find the elusive Myanmar (=Burma) Tree-Nymph (Idea agamarschana) in the mangroves of sundarbans in 2009. i can't recall anyone having seen the sundarbans subspecies in india lately, although torben larsen saw it in bangladesh very recently, and pictures of the andaman subspecies (cadelli) were posted on butterflyindia earlier this year. and if you are really ambitious, you should try to find and study its early stages (egg, larva, pupa) as well. if you manage that, that would be quite an accomplishment. Euploea crameri nicevillei (the "Sunderbans Crow") would be another challenge (refer to larsen's bangladesh butterfly book).
