daisy, that's wonderful documentation! i had 
earlier heard about pachamalai, and now it 
certainly sounds more exciting. since the 
butterflies of this area are not well-known, you 
should publish your butterfly work in a journal. 
feel free to contact me if you need any help to 
write up and publish your butterfly observations. 
if you want to sample butterflies more 
rigorously, i can also advise you on record 
keeping and general butterfly census methods.
